Ah... espresso. Alchemy in a cup, and the very essence of coffee. A properly prepared espresso is a tazza of bittersweet liqueur; thick, rich and languid on the tongue, topped with a dense layer of copper-colored crema -- the hallmark of an expertly crafted cup. Our Dark Magic Espresso Blend is our own ode to espresso; a blend created expressly for the rigors of espresso preparation. We roast the beans separately and blend after roasting to achieve a harmonious, full and phenomenally delicious coffee. We think you'll find it sweet, intense and vibrant, with a finish that's as pleasing as it is lingering.

We've owned our Keurig b70 for 6 months now (click on my other reviews to see how much we love our Keurig!), and my husband LOVES a strong coffee. There are two kinds of K-cups that we keep ordering - Green Mountain Extra Bold Dark Magic and Tully's Kona. I brew on the smallest drip size to make my own Iced Caramel Macchiato! You need a strong K-cup to stand up to the ice.
I only wish that Amazon had this K-cup permanently in stock!!

Yet another automatic counter-hogging coffee maker died on me, so I delved in the recesses of my pantry for my old plastic filter cone. Not there. Disappeared in a fit of decluttering that had possessed me a few years back. No problem. I'd go to Starbucks or Alterra and replace it. Problem: Only a few small, fancy porcelain cones were on display. No problem. I'd go to Target or Walmart and replace it. Problem: No such object exists in these stores and clerks didn't even know what I was talking about. I discovered that I was seeking the dodo bird of coffee making. No problem. I turned to Amazon and three days later I was dripping water through a serviceable brown filter cone with a stable base wide enough to fit on a pot and small enough to drip into a solid cup, enjoying the whistling of my teakettle and the whole process of inserting the #4 paper filter--a perfect fit--and deciding which coffee would best fit the mood of the day. Now I am sitting here at my laptop with a strong... Read more

I needed a coffee cone large enough for my #4 filter and tall large-mouthed Fiestaware cappucino mug. This is perfect. Good quality plastic, arrived very quickly.

Bought this for my gf to use as a single drip, over-the-mug coffee maker. Bought the bigger size to have more room for the boiling water, but the water flows through pretty quickly so the smaller size probably would have worked. She really likes it. The one cup she made for me was weak but she used very little coffee and poured the water quickly. the strength of the coffee seems relatively easy to adjust. you can add more grounds or pour the boiling water more slowly to get stronger coffee. Overall a great product, and very inexpensive. wish I had bought 2 because the actual price is low but shipping more than doubles it.

The AeroPress is a completely new kind of coffee press that brews absolutely delicious, rich coffee without bitterness. In one minute, the AeroPress will make 1 to 4 cups of American or espresso style coffee. Coffee brewed in an AeroPress is rich but smooth for good technical reasons. The first and most important reason is brewing speed. Coffee yields its rich flavors quickly. From when you add hot water to when you are ready to drink, the AeroPress takes about 30 seconds, just like a fine espresso machine. The time required to fill a drip coffee maker pot or the steeping time required for a traditional coffee press is measured in minutes, not seconds, and because of that, they brew bitter, acidic coffee. When brewing coffee with an AeroPress, you use very hot but not boiling water, you use finely ground coffee, and the filter prevents any grit from getting into your cup, all of which are additional important reasons AeroPress brewed coffee is so remarkably delicious. Amazon frustration-free packaging
Unique coffee/espresso maker uses total immersion and gentle pressure to produce coffee with extraordinarily rich flavor
Makes American style coffee or an espresso-style shot perfect for use in lattes or cappuccinos
Because of the lower temperature and short brew time, the acid level of the brew is much lower than conventional brewers
Micro-filtered coffee so pure and particle-free that it can be stored for days as a concentrate

Aerobie AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker Reviews
Aerobie AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker Reviews
I have owned the AeroPress for over two years and, judging by the number of filters I have used so far, I have brewed about 600 cups of coffee with it. It has become an essential part of my daily routine. It is fast, easy, and the grounds just pop out into the trash or compost. But all this has already been covered in these reviews. Here are a few additional points worth considering:
-It can brew a few cups of coffee in just a few minutes and make each cup as weak or as strong as my guest wants.
-If you are expecting the coffee to taste like espresso or like French-pressed coffee, remember that the AeroPress uses a paper filter. It filters out much of the oil that would otherwise be present. I prefer my coffee this way but others may not. Think of it as the best drip coffee maker in the world.
-Unlike an espresso machine or a French press, you can grind the coffee in a basic blade grinder because a consistent grind isn't necessary. In a French press,... Read more

I did many hours of research into coffee makers before deciding on an Aeropress. I learned that several factors influence the coffee you end up with: the temperature of the water, the way the water mixes with the coffee, and how the coffee is extracted from the grounds. I found it difficult to find knowledgeable reviews of the various coffee machines, so I decided to take control of my coffee preparation. The aeropress allows you to control how hot the water is and how long you let it mix with the coffee.
The whole coffee making process is explained in the products instructions.
1. Insert a filter and some coffee into the unit. A coffee scoop and some filters are included with the aeropress, they recommend 1 scoop of coffee per cup.
2. Heat the right amount of water. Markers are printed on the side of the Aeropress to show the recommended amount of water for between 1 and 4 (the maximum) espresso shots. The manufacturers recommend water between 75 and... Read more

***Update 3/15/11*** It's been over 4 years, and I still use this coffee maker every single day. I'm STILL on my first packet of filters, and still in love. I rinse the filters out and reuse once or twice per filter. And no, I haven't flipped it over. Yet.
As a certified coffee snob, I thought it didn't get better than french press. Fugetaboudit! The Aeropress renders a sweet, flavorful, impeccable Americano every time that will change your expectations forever. I have a drip coffee machine, a french press and a Krups espresso maker, and they are all officially retired thanks to the Aeropress.
I can't say enough about the results, but note that the Aerobie is more time-consuming to use than either french press or drip coffee makers, more comparable to espresso makers. Well worth it, mind you, but NOT as quick and painless as the manufacturer would have you believe. This product makes espresso by forcing air through the grounds using a syringe-type plunger. You...
